The passing of Miss Diane Barron (Isaac)

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Miss Diane Barron (Isaac)

Diane made an outstanding contribution to the British Dance Council over many years.  Her directorship of the British dance Council came due to her being a member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing  where she served as President, Examiner and  on numerous councils.

She played an important part of developing dancesport within the University system being in Blackpool many times as head coach for Bristol. It was in Blackpool that she received a lifetime achievement award from the University Dancesport organisation

With a bubbly , yet firm personality, Diane was certainly a force to be reckoned with at board meetings. Her knowledge of the business spanned many decades. She will be solely missed.
